COFFEE & CONCERT Announcement

On Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 7:00 pm, Wendy Farha will be giving a concert at 7681 rue Centrale, LaSalle, Quebec. Wendy Farha has been playing guitar and composing her own songs since she was a teen-ager. Tickets cost $12 before Wednesday, September 22 or $14 on September 23 or at the door. You must RSVP.

What is a "Coffee & Concert"?
It's another term for a "house concert", which is just like it sounds - a concert held in someone's house. Although largely unheard of in these parts, house concerts are big in the USA and in the western part of Canada. A concert in someone's home is wonderful - the atmosphere is friendly and intimate, and it's a great way to meet people and make new friends. Good music, interesting folks, and always plenty of delicious refreshments.....all included in the ticket price!

If you've never been to one of our Coffee & Concerts before, come see what you've been missing! We'll send you directions of how to get here. We'll be nice to you when you arrive. We'll serve you treats and we'll give you coffee (or tea) (or both), and I'll sing you every song I've ever written. So what have you got to lose, eh?? Our last Coffee & Concert here was a blast - lots of good songs, laughter, food....and even a singalong. It was all great fun, and as an added bonus, my 87-year-old dad sang some love songs. You never know; he might turn up again for another performance...
